Teaching a Creativity Masterclass to our summer intern class

Two truths and a lie:

  1. While many have a Bachelor of Arts, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Design

  2. I’ve performed Bachata on stage at the Chicago International Salsa Congress

  3. Recent New Business track record: Wins: 4, Losses: 1

Ping me to find out.

Until then, some other things to know:
I’m a Creative Director at Digitas North America and Self-Starter at my core being. I hate the status quo, and instead champion curiosity. I know that standout creative begins with big conceptual thinking that becomes shaped and honed by craft. I’m not like most CDs; I’m a hybrid. Disciplined in both traditional design practices AND conceptually-led approaches; Concept and Craft are on an equal playing field to me. And, none of that matters without a real reason for any of it: the strategy. I understand the importance of finding strategic insights, developing brand narratives, applying disciplined design principles, and getting cozy with the color wheel.

The result has been award-winning work that’s beautifully executed, connects with people, and solves real business problems.

I don’t just lead work, I help create agency culture too. By hosting Art Director Lunch ‘n Learns, Onboarding initiatives, and Creative 101s for new talent. Prior to Digitas, I was at R/GA and BBDO, leading design and creative for popular brands like Corona Extra, Grey Goose, Jim Beam, SC Johnson, The Art Institute of Chicago and more. In my spare time you’ll find me motivating mamas, designing wedding invites, and snow machining.

Let's chat.
